Honeywell has turned to API to oversee the procurement and management of a large portion of the MRO’s material requirements. As part of the relationship, API acts as Honeywell’s sole supplier of wheel and brake materials to all domestic ALS locations. In addition, API manages the refurbishment cycle for certain carbon heatsinks used in Honeywell ALS repair and overhaul services.
Additionally, Honeywell uses ESPSM at its Montreal, QC, Canada MR&O facilities. Via ESPSM, API automatically replenishes Honeywell’s MR&O supplies and piece parts to support their APU overhaul operations. As part of this program, API also provides bin management services, allowing Honeywell to eliminate the overhead associated with procurement and inventory management.
